To ensure the perfect fit for your tennis necklace, it’s important to measure your neck accurately- here’s our guide!
1. Use a Soft Measuring Tape: Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your neck where you want the necklace to sit. For a classic tennis necklace, this is typically just below the collarbone Tip: If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of string to measure around your neck, then lay it flat against a ruler to determine the length.
2. Note the Measurement & Add 1-2”: Write down your neck circumference in inches. Add 1-2 inches to this measurement for a comfortable fit, depending on whether you prefer a closer fit (1 inch) or a slightly looser fit (2 inches).
3. Popular Lengths
- 16 inches: The most popular length, sitting right at the base of the neck for most people.
- 18 inches: Offers a slightly longer drape, just below the collarbone, ideal for a more relaxed look.
4. Adjust for Comfort: The necklace should lay flat against your skin without feeling too tight. If you’re between sizes, it’s better to go slightly longer for comfort.
